Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., ONGC offers 50 Scholarships to
SC/ST Students of Graduate degree in Engineering and Post Graduate
Degree in Geology/Geophysics and Business Administration.
Eligibility:
| (a) | The candidate should be a student of either: | |
| (i) | 2nd year of Graduate Engineering Degree or | |
| (ii) | 1st year of Master's Degree in Geology or Geophysics or | |
| (iii) | 1st year M.B.A |
|
| (b) | The candidate should be a full-time
student pursuing any of the above mentioned courses at any I.I.T.
or University/Institution recognized by the Government of India. |
|
| (c) | The candidate should have obtained
overall grade point average (OGPA) of not less than 6.5 in the 10
points scale of the grading system or its equivalent in the first
year for Engineering students and in Graduate Degree course for
candidates presently pursuing Post Graduate Degree in
Geology/Geophysics and Business Administration. |

| (d) | The continuance of the scholarship once awarded is subject to satisfactory performance in each year annual examination and conduct | |
How to apply:
The candidate fulfilling the above requirement and willing to
be considered for the scholarship should submit the following:
| (a) | His/her duly signed and typed application with a
recent attested photograph. |
| (b) | Furnish full particulars such as the candidates
name, father's name, address for communication, date of birth,
whether SC/ST, qualification indicating, name of the
institution, course, the branch of study/subjects taken, year of
passing, performance in the First year Engineering or in
Graduation for P.G. courses of Geology/Geophysics and M.B.A. |
| (c) | Photocopy of mark sheets and caste certificate. |
| (d) | An undertaking that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria as laid down by ONGC. He/she is not receiving any financial assistance from any sources. If the information is found false or incorrect, he/she will be liable to be disqualified for the ONGC Scholarship besides refunding the amount received for ONGC. |
The application should be certified and forwarded by the Head of the
institution in which candidate is studying Engineering courses/Post
Graduate courses in Geology/Geophysics and M.B.A.
