IISc Young Fellowship for toppers in PUC/12th Std.

Eligibility:

If you are a topper in PUC/12th standard (within 20 ranks) of the Pre­-University Board / University) and if you decide to pursue a research career in Science and join B.Sc. or an equivalent programme in any branch of science namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, in any college/University of your choice, you are eligible to become an IISc. Young Fellow.



Value:

If selected, IISc will contribute towards payment of your tuition fees and purchase of books. You will be invited to spend your vacation every year in the research laboratories of IISc and will be travel and stay expenses. IISc will contribute partially towards payment of your tuition fees and purchase of books. If you maintain a high scholastic record, you will be admitted the integrated Ph.D, programme at IISc after you complete your B.Sc. programme. At the same time, there is no obligation on your part to join IISc after B.Sc.
